ABOUT MATTHEW – BAGPIPER

Matthew is a master of the Great Highland Bagpipe with over 30 years’ experience creating powerful, emotionally resonant moments. Taught by his father from a young age, he is widely respected within the piping community for both his technical excellence and commanding presence.

Matthew has performed at some of the UK’s most iconic venues, including the Royal Albert Hall, Hampton Court Palace, Kew Gardens, Soho House and aboard the Great British Pullman. His work spans private events, landmark occasions and major brand commissions, with clients including Sony, Burberry, Panasonic, Walkers Crisps and STARZPLAY (Outlander).

His performances have featured across film, television and radio, including BBC Radio 2, The Last Leg, Made in Chelsea and The King’s Man. He has also performed alongside The Chieftains and Il Divo, bringing a rare blend of heritage, drama and emotional impact to every setting.
