A Lavish 40th Birthday Party over the Queen’s Jubilee Weekend
Our event planning and entertainment services were requested by our lovely client who needed assistance in planning her 40th birthday party, which was scheduled for the Queen’s Jubilee Weekend. To give the event a touch of British glam, we carefully selected the best suppliers in the area for everything from the marquees to the flowers.
The celebration was held on the client’s estate in Surrey, where we set up two stretch tents, one of which had a union jack roof as a nod to the Queen. We also created a courtyard in between the tents, complete with luxurious furniture and floral displays, to make the vast grounds feel like a venue. On Friday, guests were asked to dress in red, white, and blue, and were greeted by a military-style drummer as they walked down the drive to the drinks reception in the courtyard. A live pianist and glamorous stilt-walking dancer were also there to welcome the guests. After canapes and champagne, guests moved to the dining tent and enjoyed an incredible meal, with our signature roaming band performing just as Espresso Martinis were served. The night ended under the union jack tent, where guests danced to one of our incredible live bands. For added excitement, our fire-eating dancer performed in front of an impressive light show projected onto the house. Late-night food was served from festival-style food vans, and the party continued into the early morning.
On Saturday, guests arrived in time for a delicious authentic Indian BBQ feast, accompanied by live Ibiza-style entertainment from a DJ to add to the tropical vibe. The sunny weather persisted throughout the weekend, and guests enjoyed fun and games in the afternoon, including golf, bouncy castles, football shootout, and twister.
