A music-loving couple hired our services to provide a roaming band for their wedding day, to perform during dessert and the evening party. The wedding was held at the iconic music venue, The Albert Hall, in Manchester, which provided the perfect backdrop for the occasion. The venue is a Grade II listed building and a former Wesleyan chapel. The venue was converted into a music hall in 2012 and has since become one of the most popular music venues in the city, with a capacity of 2,500 people. The venue has a stunning interior featuring a grand pipe organ, stained glass windows, and original Victorian features. Many well-known artists and musicians have performed at The Albert Hall, making it a sought-after venue for music events and weddings alike.

Our roaming bands are one of the most versatile entertainment options we offer, as they can move around the event space while playing live music and engaging with guests. For this wedding, we carefully selected a band that matched the couple’s taste in music and created a lively, upbeat ambiance that perfectly complemented the venue’s iconic atmosphere.

During dessert, the band made their way around the tables, playing popular tunes and taking requests from guests. They interacted with everyone, creating a relaxed and enjoyable vibe that made the wedding reception all the more memorable. As the night continued, the energy in the room grew and the guests were ready to dance. The roaming band shifted their focus from playing around the tables to taking the stage on the dance floor. The band members brought their instruments and wireless microphones, and they were ready to create a memorable experience for the wedding guests. With their lively and dynamic performances, the roaming band played a mix of popular tunes that got everyone on their feet. They interacted with guests, encouraging them to dance and sing along.

“What can I say, the band were amazing. We wanted something a little different and ultimately wanted everyone up dancing by the end of the night. Halfway through dessert and 3 songs in all of our guests were on the dance floor and I’m pretty sure most never left it! We were overwhelmed by how good they were and the atmosphere they created. Roaming the room meant they got everyone involved, their mashups were totally original and the fact they learnt our first dance added an extra special touch. We loved them so much we paid for an extra set on the night. Our guests were totally amazed by how different and how good they were and still, three weeks later, it’s all people can talk about.
